RIO = Rivers Influencing the Ocean

Disseminate the influence of rivers on the ocean, connecting scientific evidence and local stakeholders, from the Andes to coastal systems of Chile

screen reader text

The RIO project seeks to improve understanding of the environment and encourage reasoned decision-making with critical and reflective thinking. Chilean society, although it values rivers and coastal systems, still has a strong lack of knowledge about the virtuous connections that are generated between them. This reality is not alien to decision makers, who usually indicate that most of the fresh water is lost in the sea. Follow us in Instagram (spanish content).
